I’m close to finishing the painting I started nearly 25 years ago and now I’m contemplating the next one. What will I paint? Topic? Theme? Genre? The possibilities are endless… It’s a big decision for me as to what I do next. I know it shouldn’t be, but I tend to be thoughtful and purposeful about everything I do, even more so in this current season.
I tend to think of it a bit like this: Imagine standing before a blank canvas as I am, brush in hand, poised between potential and expression. Every stroke carries the risk and reward of creation.
That’s what happens when we stop treating our values as quiet ideals and start letting them move, when what we believe begins to take shape in how we live.
In Soulprint, I call this the Alchemy of Action; the moment essence becomes expression, and belief becomes behaviour.
The world has plenty of noise about success, speed, and status.
But turning inward is the real act of courage. It’s a return to your sacred ground, where you can listen for what matters most and allow those truths to guide how you build, lead, and live.
This is where coherence begins.
Not in performance.
In alignment.
When our actions flow from our core values, life stops feeling like an act and starts feeling like integrity. Not the rigid, rule-based kind, but the graceful harmony of belief and behaviour.
I feel like I’m more aligned than ever. My soul is quiet, it’s centered and even more intentional.
I honestly think it’s come from this season of deep reflection and rest. There’s been a monumental ‘shift’ within me. I feel like there’s been a stripping away of everything that hasn’t served me well in the past; certain beliefs, dogmas, habits, hurts, disappointments, and even people and relationships.
I’ve lost a lot. But what I think I’ve lost has made me realise the deeper beauty of what I now have.
When your inner compass shapes your outer choices, you build something unshakeable… trust.
You trust yourself more deeply. I trust myself more deeply now.
Authenticity doesn’t need to announce itself; it’s felt before it’s seen and I’m feeling it to the depths of my core.
I’m almost ready to put the ‘new’ me into action. I’m hesitant but excited for the future. Another thing I’ve come to understand is that values translated into action invite respect, even in disagreement. They create coherence, credibility, and quiet strength, the kind that doesn’t need applause.
Living your values isn’t just ethical; it’s empowering. It’s authorship. It’s how you reclaim the pen from performance and start writing a life that feels like truth.
Integrity compounds quietly, steadily, until your outer world begins to mirror your inner world.
That’s when your Soulprint shines through.
The most exquisite harmony isn’t found in perfection or approval, but when your inner song matches the rhythm of your steps.
Let your actions sing.
